Overlooking Lake Zoar, The VFW Hall is located in a rustic style building with a rich history that dates back to 1940, the building once serving as the Club House and Snack Shack for Southbury’s Lakeside Beach Association. The VFW Post 1607 members work hard to preserve and restore this important building and make it available to the community. Donations for use are requested.

The hall has been the site for birthday and anniversary parties, wedding showers, rehearsal dinners and receptions, reunions, post-funeral service gatherings, meetings, regularly scheduled classes, dinner theater fundraisers, and auctions. Conveniently located close to I-84, about 5 miles from downtown Southbury, the hall accommodates seating for up to 100 people.
